History and Vision

Bundu NetworX specialises in the construction of high sites and long distance wireless links. BUNDUNET builds its network infrastructure by deploying redundant rings. These rings connect our high-sites in a way that avoids down time if a link fails. A dynamic route distribution protocol is used to rapidly reroute traffic in the event of a link failure. Each high-site is connected with two wireless links, has solar electricity and has a minimum of 3 day battery backup.

Bundu NetworX has a three-tier network design. A physical layer using cost effective wireless technologies, an underlying private IP network for dynamic routing and network management, and a VPN layer for customer traffic. The network is monitored 24hours a day, 365 days a year, responding to, and fixing down time issues often before you are aware they have occurred.

Bundu NetworX uses world class MikroTik equipment. MikroTik has been developing, installing and selling wireless routers since 1995 and their equipment is used world wide, including by NASA.
